The euro, dollar and sterling exchange rates stability against the Moroccan dirham on Thursday (March 11, 2021), according to data from the Central Bank of Morocco.
The average euro price stabilized at 10.31 dirhams for purchase and 11.98 for sale, and the dollar recorded a price of 8.68 dirhams for purchase and 10.09 dirhams for sale, the same price yesterday.
The pound’s purchase price remained at yesterday’s level at AED 12.04 for purchase and AED 13.99 for sale.
Rial and dinar prices
According to the Moroccan Central Bank, the price of the Saudi riyal was 2.31 dirhams for purchase and 2.69 dirhams for sale.
The Uae dirham was 2.36 Moroccan dirhams for purchase and AED 2.74 for sale.
The kuwaiti dinar fell to 28.64 dirhams for purchase and 33.29 dirhams for sale.
Morocco’s trade deficit shrank last year, compared with 2019 figures.
The Moroccan Exchange Office said the trade deficit shrank by 23.1% to 158.6 billion dirhams ($17.6 billion) in 2020.
Moroccan remittances abroad increased by 5% to 67.99 billion dirhams from 64.77 billion dirhams in 2019.
